WHAT IS AN NFT?

A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unique digital asset that represents ownership of real-world items like art, video clips, music, and more. NFTs use the same blockchain technology that powers cryptocurrencies, but they're not a currency.

Why create them?

NFTs are simply a tool for digital verification and should never be conflated with art.

That being said... until recently, digital ownership felt frivolous. With the blockchain, uniqueness and provenance of any digital piece of art is substantiated with immutable code.

The NFT owned by the collector proves its origin through blockchain metadata, making counterfeiting or pirating an impossibility. Confirmation of a collectible's legitimacy is easily established through the public ledger.
